WHAT IS THE  "SAKMCF" ?

It is a formally registered non-profit making body run by Trustees. The foundation has contacts with national and international bodies that practice and promote KMC in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

OBJECTIVES OF   SAKMCF

To promote early and prolonged skin-to-skin care for newborn babies.

To facilitate education of healthcare workers in KMC.

To promote and support KMC within all communities in Southern Africa.

to individuals and groups with a special interest in KMC.
